Remember, you don’t have to be a professional photographer to participate in this project. This is DPI-SIG’s way of giving back to our community. A big thank you to the volunteers who have offered their photography services in the past. Priscilla McGuire, Coordinator for the Volunteer Photographers for Non-Profit Organizations reported on the requests for photographers. MEMBER IN THE NEWS: Larry Richardson’s photography was featured in Naples Illustrated magazine, September 2012 issue, with an 8-page spread of images from his trip to Africa. It’s always fun to see how everyone interprets the monthly theme. Sincere thanks to Damaris for doing such a great job of filling in for Jeff. She used Pro Show Gold Producer software for the slideshows and used some toe-tapping music for this unusual theme. Damaris reported that 17 members submitted 100 photos.
